BLUEFIELD, W.Va. – Coming up on Monday, a meeting will be held at the Bluefield Arts Center to discuss upcoming downtown developments.
The 400 block of the City of Bluefield has been left open since the buildings that used to occupy the space were torn down. Now, the Bluefield Economic Development Center is ready to share their plans with the public and hopefully receive feedback.
Jim Spencer, the Executive Director of the Economic Development Authority said the goal is to improve the whole city with this project.
“We’re trying to develop something that makes the downtown a draw…that actually enhances other aspects in the city,” said Spencer.
The meeting will take place at the Bluefield Arts Center on 500 Bland Street on this coming Monday from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
