A 3-year-old boy found dead in his Queens home last December was the victim of a homicide, police said Thursday.
Police were called to a house on Mott Ave. near Grassmere Terrace in Far Rockaway around 6:05 a.m. Dec. 13, cops said.
When they arrived, they discovered Elias Rosado critically injured after suffering blunt force trauma to his body.
Medics raced the toddler to Saint John’s Episcopal Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
It was not immediately clear who was home with Elias, nor who dialed 911 for help, according to a police spokesperson.
The city’s Medical Examiner later determined the boy was killed.
There were no immediate charges filed.
