ACKERLY, Texas — A 4.8 magnitude earthquake was reported southwest of Ackerly, Texas Friday, which is northeast of Midland, according to United States Geological Survey (USGS).
At 1:33 p.m., the 4.8 magnitude earthquake hit Ackerly.
USGS said it was 4.2 miles in depth.
