DALLAS — Ten people were taken to the hospital after the NCA All-Star National Championship was evacuated from Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in downtown Dallas, officials confirmed.
A fight among parents Saturday led to panic as numerous social media users expressed concern about a possible shooting at the convention center, WFAA previously reported. Dallas police sources told WFAA there were no shots fired and there was not an active shooter. No arrests have been made related to the incident, police sources told WFAA.
All ten people taken to a hospital were injured while evacuating the convention center, Dallas Fire Rescue said in a statement. None of the injuries were life-threatening and ranged in severity from bruising to fractures, the statement reads.
