Making its debut in 2019, this Ghost perfume is ideal for anyone looking to bag a fresh, floral scent to match the upcoming spring and summer weather. It’s been described as the ‘sister’ scent to the original Ghost The Fragrance that boasts similar fresh notes.
Inspired by the English countryside, Purity opens with delicate notes of freesia, sugar loaf pineapple and mandarin oil. It then develops into floral heart notes such as dewy rose petals, violets and Casablanca Lily.
Sandalwood, musk and meringue accord make up the base notes, offering a “warm, earthy finish” to the otherwise lighter scent. Fragrance aside, the bottle boasts the same thin, hourglass silhouette as its sister perfume, but with a frosted finish to catch the eye.
Currently averaging an impressive 4.8 rating on Amazon based on over 1,000 reviews, Purity might not be the first perfume you think of when it comes to the brand, but its “feminine” scent has impressed reviewers who have called it “one of the best” on offer from Ghost.
One five-star review read: “I love Ghost perfumes and this one is a gorgeous, soft, delicate floral fragrance without being overpowering.”
A second Amazon shopper said: “Absolutely adore this perfume – it’s a classic. It’s quite strong when first sprayed, but dries down lovely and lasts all day. One of the best Ghost scents in my opinion!”
