A 3-year-old bruised and unconscious boy died after being hastily dropped off at a Brooklyn hospital Sunday, police said.
The toddler was brought to University Hospital at Downstate on Clarkson Ave. near New York Ave. in East Flatbush just before 11:25 a.m., cops said. Though he was taken to the hospital by private means, the driver quickly took off, cops said.
The little boy was unconscious when he arrived, and had “visible bruising” on his body, cops said. Doctors pronounced him dead soon after the drop-off.
The city Medical Examiner will determine the child’s cause of death.
