AUSTIN, Texas — One person is dead and another is recovering from injuries after a crash in East Austin.
Austin-Travis County EMS (ATCEMS) said early Monday morning that medics were responding to a two-vehicle crash involving two adult patients at FM 969 and Decker Lane. One person was pinned inside their car.
Medics declared one of the patients dead at the scene, while the other was taken to a hospital with serious injuries that aren’t expected to be life-threatening.
