A man was slashed Wednesday while breaking up a fight between two teenagers across from a Queens middle school, where cops later found one of the teens involved with a loaded gun, police sources said.
The teens skirmished across the street from I.S. 192 The Linden school on 204th St. near Hollis Ave. in St. Albans just before 3:40 p.m., cops said.
When adults who spotted the fracas intervened to break up the fight, a 37-year-old man was slashed in the lower back. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was treated for his injuries.
Police were called to the scene, where they found one of the teens had a loaded gun in his waistband, police sources said.
Cops took one of the teens into custody; charges against him were not immediately filed.
It was not immediately clear if the kids involved in the fight went to the middle school.
