DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. — Douglas County High School senior Mantavius Presley, affectionately known as “LeBron,” has reached an extraordinary milestone—earning $1 million in scholarship offers from colleges and universities across the country.
Presley has been accepted to 58 institutions, including prestigious schools such as Morehouse College, Howard University, Mercer University, Xavier University of Louisiana, and the University of Alabama. His achievements extend far beyond academics, showcasing a commitment to leadership and service that sets him apart.
A dedicated student leader, Presley is President of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and the National Honor Society. He is also Vice President of the Student Government Association and the Class of 2025. In addition to these roles, he manages the JV and Varsity Cheer teams, contributes to the yearbook staff, and is actively involved in seven other school organizations.


Presley’s impact is felt not only in the classroom but throughout his community. During high school, he dedicated over 1,100 hours to community service, demonstrating a passion for giving back.
As he prepares for graduation, Presley is carefully considering his options before making a final decision on where to continue his education. His mother, Chasity Green, shared her pride in her son’s accomplishments. “I am so proud of my son, congratulations,” she told 11Alive’s Kaitlyn Ross.
Grateful for the support he has received, Presley expressed his appreciation, saying, “Thank you so much; your words of kindness mean so much to me.”
