A man was shot in the leg outside a subway station in Brooklyn on Friday afternoon, police said.
The shooting happened in front of the Smith-Ninth Sts. subway station in Gowanus, according to cops.
Police said the man was shot in the left leg. Medics transported him to an area hospital in stable condition.

The violent incident may have started as an argument at a nearby McDonald’s that spilled out in front of the subway station, a police source said.
Cops appeared to be searching inside the station for evidence.
