Police released photos Saturday of a masked suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a 33-year-old man last month.

The unidentified gunman allegedly shot Kemahni Smalls, who had just been released from prison a year ago, and a 32-year-old man both in the back in front of a Shaking Crab restaurant near Pelham Parkway South and White Plains Rd. in Pelham Parkway on Feb. 23 around 7:50 p.m., cops said.

Smalls was transported to Jacobi Medical Center by private means but could not be saved. The 32-year-old victim was transported by EMS to the same hospital where he was in stable condition.

The gunman fled the scene immediately after the shooting, leaving behind two bullet shell casings, police said. He is described as 6 feet 2 inches tall and slim, and was last seen wearing a black mask, a red, white and black hoodie, black pants and sneakers, according to police.

It’s still unclear what sparked the shooting.

Smalls had previously been arrested five times and was paroled last March after serving nearly five-and-a-half years in state prison for an attempted assault conviction on Staten Island, where he lived, records show.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
