How did you rate Celtic’s display in the derby?

KEITH JACKSON: They were unusually poor throughout and desperately missed skipper and linchpin Callum McGregor. The midfield simply didn’t function without him.

CRAIG SWAN:Celtic just did not get into a rhythm in the vital opening stages. They were loose in passing and sloppy at key times. The second-half fightback was strong, but more sloppiness led to the loss. Not good.

GAVIN BERRY: Very strange. They were so subdued in that first half when they should have been rubbing their hands at the chance to take on their rivals under those circumstances. And to then get back into it and still lose was incredible.

SCOTT BURNS: They were miles off where a Celtic team should be. Defensively they were woeful and that led to their downfall. It is another sore one for Brendan Rodgers and his team.

Rangers interim head coach Barry Ferguson celebrates

What did you make of Barry Ferguson’s showing at Parkhead?

KEITH: He’s put himself right in the mix in terms of landing the gig on a full time basis. Tactically he got it spot on but it’s the improvement in mentality which will satisfy him the most.

CRAIG: Terrific. He said his team would start with intent and they did it. Through energy and through a plan which gave them their foothold. Putting Igamane on worked a treat and the resilience he has installed shone through. Impressive.

GAVIN: Close to perfect. Rangers did brilliantly to go two goals up but what will please Barry Ferguson even more is the way they managed to dig in after it went 2-2. A draw would have been a more than decent result after their Euro exertions but to conjure up a winner was the stuff of dreams for him.

SCOTT: You have got to give him credit. He has given Rangers more belief. They showed character again to win it after initially seeing their 2-0 lead being pegged back. Now his team has to produce it against the so-called lesser teams.

How will Scotland do against Greece this week?

KEITH: They’ll certainly have their work cut out but Steve Clarke and his players are more than equipped to come through in two legs. A draw in Athens on Thursday night will get them off to a flyer.

CRAIG: Steve Clarke began to build some real momentum again towards the end of the last campaign and his team can do the business against the Greeks.

GAVIN: Only one defeat in their last seven and one defeat at home in four years tells you the size of the task facing Steve Clarke and his men.

They will do well to avoid a loss in Athens – Hampden holds the key to staying in with the Nations League big boys.

SCOTT: If they can come back to Hampden within a goal of Greece they can turn things around. Scotland have shown they can get results but I think the Greeks might edge the first game.

Are you Falkirk now certainties to win a place back in the Premiership?

KEITH: Eight points clear at the top it would take a disaster for them to blow it from here. They’ve earned their place back in the top flight.

CRAIG: John McGlynn’s side have hit the turbo at just the right time of the term and eight points is a big gap. Falkirk are going up.

GAVIN: They are absolutely home and hosed and what a job. John McGlynn has done. They will be a great addition to the top flight with their brand of football and healthy home and away crowds.

SCOTT: It has been clear and obvious for some time. John McGlynn has done some job and Falkirk deserve to be back in the top-flight.
