ARKANSAS, USA — Three people have died after a round of severe storms and potential tornadoes moved through Arkansas on Friday night, according to the Arkansas Division of Emergency Management.
Officials are reporting that the three people who died were from Independence County and 32 more were injured in eight counties.
At least 16 counties in the state have reported damage to ADEM with many of them being in the northeast section of the state.
ADEM did not share further details at this time, but noted that the numbers on the deaths and injuries are subject to change.
A little under 4,000 people are without power after the storms as of 2:35 p.m. on March 17.
