The impacted dinners were recalled because a “wood-like material” may be present in the meals.

There has been one possible choking incident connected to the issue, Nestlé USA reported.

The recalled frozen meals were produced between August 2024 and March 2025. They were distributed to major retailers in the U.S. between September 2024 and March 2025.

Nestlé USA said they are investigating the source of the wood-like material and are “confident” that it is an isolated problem.

“The quality, safety and integrity of our products remain our number one priority. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this action represents to both our consumers and retail customers,” the company said in a press release.

Nestlé USA said the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the U.S. Department of Agriculture are working with them on the recall.

Consumers are advised to not prepare or eat the recalled frozen dinners and instead return them to the retailer where they were bought for a full refund or replacement.
