Marks and Spencer customers are singing the praises of a “smart and comfy” pair of trainers that they’ve snapped up online. As springtime arrives, consumers are eyeing up lighter tones for their wardrobes – and M&S might just have the perfect addition.
Available for £45, the M&S Collection Suede Lace Up Side Detail Trainers come in two versatile colourways: natural mix or black mix. Sizes range from three to eight, with several half sizes also in the mix.
Touted as an “ultra-comfy choice”, these trainers boast a regular fit, feature a flat heel, lace-up front, and sport contrasting panels on the side and back for a dash of flair. With an impressive 4.6-star rating garnered online, a slew of positive feedback has followed.
One satisfied customer remarked: “The trainers are a lovely fresh spring colour that look good with jeans. They were very comfortable from day one and a good price for the quality. Hopefully they will have some more trendy colours soon.”
Another shopper was delighted, saying: “Absolute love these trainers. They are smart and comfy (which is not always easy to find) Bought for work and have worn them everyday since. Excellent value for money as bought in the sale,” reports the Mirror.

And another happy buyer expressed: “Love these trainers, purchased them to take on a recent holiday. They were very comfortable and looked fab with jeans and dresses.”
A fourth customer gushed: “Stylish! Very pleased with my purchase. They look expensive, quality and stylish. Haven’t worn them yet as waiting for warmer weather to wear with cropped trousers and jeans.”
Yet another shopper enthused: “I bought these trainers in the bright blue colour. They are as comfy as the expensive branded trainers, well made and much better value! The colour is perfect for spring summer. I’m very happy with them.”
However, it seems not all feedback was glowing, with some complaints about the fit of the trainers – a few buyers found them to be “too narrow.” One individual reported: “Very narrow fit and pinched, had to return. M&S don’t seem to do wide-fit trainers anymore, which is a real shame.”
Another added: “Pretty colour but too narrow, couldn’t get them on and had to return them.”
