For those who are looking for the best audio, the A1 Earbuds come with “expertly-tuned sound”. This is due to having oversized 8mm divers that have triple-layer composite diaphragms. This results in 40 per more bass, 100 per cent more treble and clear mids.

However, some shoppers ran into issues with the soundcore earbuds, with one shopper writing: “The silicone wings are just rubbish. First if you change to a bigger size than the pre-fitted middle-of-the-road size this means it will not sit back in the case properly.
“This causes two things to happen. It will not turn the earbuds off so while they are in the case your phone is still connected via Bluetooth. It will also not charge them so they will drain to nothing and damage the batteries so even disabling Bluetooth on your phone to fix the first problem doesn’t help.”

Another shopper wasn’t happy with the charging case: “I’m not super impressed by these. The case is huge, not really ‘pocketable’ in jeans as it’s quite long and pretty deep, so doesn’t fit right and pokes out a lot. At least it has strongish magnets keeping the earphones in place for when the thin cheap lid inevitably pops open in your bag.”
