AUSTIN, Texas — A man has been charged with murder following a shooting near Hornsby Bend on Friday night.
According to the Travis County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO), the shooting happened just before 10 p.m. in the 14900 block of Chamberlain Court. Deputies responded after receiving calls reporting shots fired and people screaming.
When deputies arrived on the scene, they located 53-year-old Ruel Saintmark Hill lying in the street suffering from a gunshot wound. They administered CPR, but Hill ultimately died later at the hospital.
After gathering evidence and speaking to witnesses, deputies arrested 23-year-old Eusebio Noa Olvera just after 3:30 a.m. and booked him in the Travis County Jail on a murder charge.
